Catalyze your sales

Catalyx

When the e-commerce sales optimization consultancy, Juni, was acquired by Magalu (the forth biggest online retailer in Brazil), one of the former partners decided to start his own consultancy in the same field, but he needed a name and a logo.

How did companies in this industry operate? With A/B testing.

Which button drove more purchases: the yellow one (A) or the red one (B)?

Of the people who access the site, half would see button A and half would see button B. If, at the end of the test, button A generated more sales, it would then be shown to all users.

This was done with titles, photos, and all sorts of elements, creating sales increments that added up.

And how was this new consulting firm different from the market average?

More than just a yellow button or a red button, it had a methodology that sought to understand the user's real motivation, through hypotheses refined in each test cycle, yielding greater results than isolated experiments.

But how to translate the acceleration of sales and, at the same time, the scientific rigor that set it apart from digital marketing agencies?

We created for the new consultancy the name Catalyx, in reference to 'catalyst', within a logo whose movement is both cyclical and growth-oriented.
